Bold Color

Forget pastels, summer 2026 runways played with amped-up shades. Celine brought color-blocked skirts and tops in Crayola brights while Rabanne mixed creamsicle orange with baby blue for a new spin on soft and feminine shades.

Elevated Fringe

Seen on everything from bags and shoes to statement jackets, fringe is the texture of the moment. Bottega’s showstopping yellow handbag stays true to the brand ethos in braided leather, Cavalli adds interest to a gold mini dress and Balenciaga pairs a shimmering accent with a skirt in monochrome black.

Short Story

Longer shorts make a return this season, trading athleisure and gymwear for high-fashion takes from Balenciaga and Courrèges. Take a lesson from the runway by keeping the styles clean and simple and add interest with asymmetrical tops, bold jewelry or oversized shades.

Maximum Volume

Bigger is definitely better when it comes to dresses, with both Saint Laurent and Jacquemus showing their own takes on outsized proportions. For those looking to be more subtle, Alaïa’s silhouette brings softer volume via their much-photographed genie pants.
